Today was filled with reflection. My daughter has a friend and they are BFF's (Best Friends Forever). What a joy they both are to behold. Both God loving, God fearing, God obeying girls who are supporting each other through tough times. Often I find myself reminding them both not to sweat the big stuff, to worry about pre-teen things and not adult things. They smile...humoring me for a moment and then run off together giggling and chattering about how clueless I really am.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI saw you stopped by my blog and left a comment on my 2 rainbow pictures post. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment:) I'm your newest follower and I am following your other blog too! Your daughter and you sound like fighters through all the ups and downs that you have experienced. It's a pleasure to "meet" you and best wishes on your blogging! I started my blog in June 2010. It's been fun meeting new people!
PS: It is a blessing to witness our children enjoying their friend's company so much!
ReplyDeletePlease excuse my delay in posting back to you. I am bouncing between three blogs right now. One to share our journey through the medical. One on my own and one I share with my friend. It sure keeps me busy, but I like it. You are right, it is wonderful when children make that special connection with a friend. That lasting bond.
